Wie en Wat is Ons?
Die Kempton Park Gemeenskap Polisie Forum is 'n formele organisasie wat daarop gemik is om 'n nouer band te vorm met die SAPD deur gesamentlik misdaad te beveg en sodoende Kempton Park 'n veiliger plek te maak vir ons gemeenskap.

Is Jy 'n Lid?
Die forum se lede word opgemaak uit ALMAL wat inwoners is of 'n besigheid bedryf oos van die spoorlyn, vanaf Rhodesfield tot Motorvia.

Wat is die Forum se Rol?
Ons is die middelman tussen die gemeenskap en die SAPD deur uitruilin en deel van informasie inslutende:

  • Die manier waarop kriminele dink en optree.
  • Watter stappe geneem kan word om ons gesinne en huise te beskerm.
  • Die huidge ge-identifiseerde "hot spots".
  • Huidige bedreigings en tye om meer oplettend te wees.
  • Verslae oor die algemene klagtes wat ingedien word by die SAPD.
  • Terugvoering en statistieke aangaande vordering en die impak van ons gekombineerde poging teen geweld.
Hoe kan u Help?
Ons kan ALMAL 'n verskil maak op die volgende maniere:
  • Wees meer bedag en oplettend vir verdagte optredes.
  • Bekendmaking van hierdie inligting aan KGPF lede, asook die SAPS in volkome VERTROULIKHEID.
  • Fondsinsameling vir die Forum vir aanwending in misdaadvoorkomende projekte en toerusting.
  • Hulp met misdaad-voorkoming waar moontlik (Buurtwag, Plaaslike gemeenskap dag- en nagpatrollies, ens.)

Who and What are We?
The Kempton Park Community Police Forum is a formal organization aimed at vuilding a closer involvement with SAPS, in jointly combating crime in our area and providing a safer place for all members of our local community.

What is Our Aim?
To involve EVERYONE in our community in the sharing of responsibility for reducing and eliminating crime in our area.

What is the Role of the Forum?
We provide the link between the community and SAPS through the inter-exchange and sharing of information including:

  • The way the criminals think and behave.
  • What steps we can take to better protect our families and homes.
  • The current identified "hot spots".
  • Up-to-date crime threats, trends and times to be especially vigilant.
  • Reports on the general nature of complaints registered at the Police Station.
  • Feedback and statistics from SAPS on the progress and impact of our joint effort on crime.
How can you Help?
We can ALL make a collective difference in several ways by:
  • Becoming more vigilant and aware of suspicious activities in our community.
  • Sharing this information among KCPF members as well as SAPS in total CONFIDENTIALITY.
  • Assist in fund raising and getting involved in awareness campaigns.
  • Assist with crime prevention initiatives where possible (Neighbourhood Watch, Local community night and day patrols, etc.)
