How to clean a
musty refrigerator
When a refrigerator gets musty,
either from a power outage or bad cleaning habits here is what you
need to do to clean it up. Forget toxic chemicals that are used to
clean your refrigerator. Try this simple way of cleaning and
absorbing odors. It's quick and easy and you will still have time to
relax before your mother arrives.
Things you'll need:
Baking soda, water, vinegar, lime juice. |

First,
wash out the refrigerator with a
vinegar and warm water solution. Go
over the shelves with a dry paper
towel to absorb excess moisture.

Next
spread baking soda on every shelf in
the refrigerator. Let it stand for
at least 20 minutes, then get fresh
clean water.

Then dampen a clean cloth and begin scrubbing the shelves
and walls of the refrigerator. Rinse the cloth often until
all the baking soda is gone. |

Finally, give the refrigerator a final rinse using 2 parts
warm water to 1 part lime juice for a refreshing scent. |
